A marionette-played story about the birth of the Baby Jesus, as it has been told in the Czech lands for centuries. We will see a shepherd, an angel, Joseph and Mary, King Herod, the Three Kings and Jesus himself. An Advent story for the whole family. The Wooden Theatre is a one-actor theatre, namely MgA. Jan Hrubec. A graduate of DAMU, Faculty of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, majoring in acting. Before founding his own Wooden Theatre, he was a part of Studio Ypsilon, Prague’s Minor Theatre, Kladno’s Lampion Theatre and Liberec’s Naive Theatre.
