The Children’s Village is the perfect place for the youngest visitors to the Christmas markets. Here, they can explore their very own little market, complete with authentic wooden stalls. Straw, fir trees and enormous gilded logs add to the village atmosphere, providing places to play or simply sit and relax.
Inside a barn-inspired play area, children can build towers or even entire towns from wooden blocks, test their balance on wooden structures and logs, and let their imaginations run wild. The village also features a small bell tower with a wishing bell.
While children enjoy playing, building and exploring, adults can take a well-earned break. With plenty of seating away from the bustle of the main market area at Cabbage Market (Zelný trh), the village offers a peaceful spot to unwind.
Admission to the Children’s Village is free.
Interestingly, the wooden building blocks used in the village were made from a Christmas tree that once stood at Cabbage Market (Zelný trh).
