The Children’s Village is an ideal place for the youngest visitors to the Christmas markets. Here, they will find an authentic children’s market with wooden stalls. The village’s atmosphere is enhanced by straw, coniferous trees and large gilded logs that can be used for playing and relaxing on. In a traditional barn, children can build towers or entire cities out of wooden blocks and test their balance on wooden structures and logs. Children’s imaginations can run wild here. The village also features a bell tower with a wishing bell. While the village provides children with space to play, be creative, and have fun, it offers adults peace and relaxation. There is plenty of seating away from the hustle and bustle of the Vegetable Market’s (Zelný trh) central area. Admission to the village is free.
This year, we have made a number of improvements to make it even more fun for children.
Interestingly, the wooden blocks for the children’s village were made from last year’s Christmas tree, which stood in the Vegetable Market.
