The courtyard of Brno-střed Town Hall will once again be home to a hand-carved wooden nativity scene created by master woodcarver Tomiš Zedník. Children and adults alike can pose for photos sitting on a sheep, alongside the shepherds or beside the baby Jesus in his crib. The historic setting of the former Dominican monastery adds an extra touch of Christmas magic to every photo.
The nativity scene also features wooden figures that children can play with. Due to its popularity, we have expanded it with more animals and characters, including a woodcutter, a woman carrying a traditional Czech Christmas bread (vánočka), a shepherdess, geese and a piglet.
