Designed by architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach between 1690 and 1696, the Baroque Parnas Fountain is a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic and a prominent feature of the Vegetable Market (Zelný trh). Its beauty is enhanced during the pre-Christmas period by festive lighting designed by the visual effects experts from the Visualove company.
