The markets have spread throughout the entire city centre. And every part is worth seeing!
The picturesque square comes alive with Christmas markets. Filled with 125 stalls, more than half of which offer handmade products by craftsmen and bearers of folk traditions, it is a vibrant place to visit. A decorated Christmas tree dominates the square, and the festive atmosphere is enhanced by the illuminated Parnas fountain and an interesting daily cultural programme on stage. This year, families will once again find plenty of space for children to play in the Children's Village, which is full of fun attractions.

These are complemented by stalls stands handicrafts and hot drinks. The festive atmosphere is enhanced by a decorated Christmas tree and a series of performances on stage. The Straw Mountain brings joy to children and provides adults with an unusual seating area.

The courtyard of Brno-střed Town Hall is adorned with a hand-carved nativity scene created by the artist Tomáš Zedník. Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., children and adults alike can have their photo taken with shepherds, on a sheep, or at the crib with baby Jesus in the beautiful setting of the former Dominican monastery.
This meeting and entertainment venue features a variety of market stands, a Christmas tree and a daily cultural programme. As is traditional, a charity collection box is placed under the tree.
You can't miss the 33-metre-high Ferris Wheel in the park on Moravské náměstí, which has an ice rink and skate rental below it.
Follow the Light Trail to Denisovy sady Park. Refreshments will also be available from the stands on the illuminated terrace. The theme this year is the Czech fairytale 'Three Nuts for Cinderella'.
Held in the heart of the city, the Christmas Festival of Bad Habits offers Brno residents and visitors an alternative to the current form of Christmas, which many people find to be overly consumerist. It provides an opportunity to slow down, take a breath and find inner peace.
